Real Estate, Betrayals, and Bodies

Vivianne Murphy mystery series

Book Three

The third book in the Vivianne Murphy mystery series finds Vivianne still reeling from almost getting blown to pieces, when yet another bombshell is hurled her way.

Venice, her best friend, announces she’s pregnant.

The next morning, Vivianne and Venice arrive at Rainbow realty, the brokerage they co-own together, when moments later, the reception doors fly open, and the police barge in.

“Annie Fitzgerald, I have a warrant for your arrest,” states the officer. Annie’s adorable smile is replaced by bewilderment, morphing into abject fear as she’s told the charge is first degree murder.

In the frantic search for justice, Vivianne finds she’s on her own when she and John, her wealthy boyfriend, have a major upset, leaving them estranged.  Being pregnant, Venice isn’t much help, and Detective Traynor has little information given the crime is out of her jurisdiction.

While racing against the clock, Vivianne encounters suicide that might be murder, murder that might be suicide, fraud, lies, deception, and a possible kidnapping.   Struggling to keep her life together, she relentlessly searches for answers in time to free Annie for her upcoming wedding to Jerome.
